Developing Leaders
Our Striker Team is the next generation of leaders, and we are investing in their future! All students ages 13-18 are automatically members of the Striker Team.
We believe there is a very bright future for our teens. Striker Team members learn how to lead and serve, and get plenty of practice developing those skills in and out of class. Many of our team leaders have earned Black Belts with Mission Martial Arts, and are actively serving in leadership roles in their classes. We have seen multiple Governor's Scholars and college scholarships earned by this group. If you're looking to develop confidence, self-discipline, and leadership skills in your student, a strong martial arts program will provide them with endless opportunities. |
Serving Others
Giving back is an important responsibility that all of us have. We have all been impacted in some way by the generosity and sacrifice of others. Whether its recognizing our military, veterans, first responders, front line workers, teachers, or those in need in our community and around the world, we have a responsibility to give.
As a school, we provide regular community service volunteer opportunities for our Striker Team. We encourage participation in both team sponsored events as well as other individual opportunities. It is expected that all students testing for higher ranks will have a consistent record of volunteer service. |
Building Community
We have a large group of teens in our various classes at Mission Martial Arts. To help everyone connect and get to know one another, we host regular Striker Team parties. These activities are a great opportunity for students to have a little down time with their friends, make new friends, and have fun!
One of the best ways to have a happy and successful life is to surround yourself with great people. Whether you're new to martial arts or just starting your journey, you're heading in the right direction. |
